Morning Glory Farm — Monroe, North Carolina
HANNAH & OKORIE
When the bride says, “I love these colors, I just don’t know what to do with it,”— tag me in!
This couple (and their families) were pure warmth, and the design followed suit—rich, layered, and intentional.
We anchored the room with a head table that made a statement without asking for permission. Dark wood, black chairs, black flatware, black plates—fully saturated, bold, and grounded. Then we softened it just enough with a light patterned napkin that tied seamlessly into the maroon, greens, and white florals running the length of the table. It was moody, elevated, and completely commanding.
And then… contrast.
You’d look up and be met with tables filled with light, ivory linens, glowing candlelight, and an entirely different energy. The rest of the room lived in that perfect in-between, balancing depth and airiness in a way that felt effortless but was anything but accidental.
Texture did the heavy lifting here. Ceramics, satin, wood, layered linens—from deep green to soft moss textures—each element added dimension without overwhelming the palette.
This was fall, refined.
A study in contrast, balance, and knowing exactly when to go bold—and when to let the light in.
